About Steve DiPressi -
When Steve’s not busy helping all types of buyers purchase first, second, vacation or investment homes, you can find him volunteering his time and skills to helping disabled, struggling and recovering Military Veterans. Steve has dedicated his life to helping the underdog achieve their life goals thru Real Estate. Steve was born in NYC, NY and raised in Westchester County along with 2 siblings and an extended and loving family. Steve was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what he did. Steve has always worked hard. (But that’s not to say he didn’t have fun along the way.) After graduating SUNY-Albany in 1982, Steve came to California and got into the Real Estate industry. Looking back on brokerage over 40 years ago, it was a time when a deal was consummated with a handshake, and agreements were still single page front and back! While real estate laws and contracts have evolved, two things have remained constant for Steve. #1-Be honest and transparent and #2-Be creative and solve problems. As his career advanced, Steve found his niche working with underdogs, coming up with creative solutions for distress situations, difficult properties and all sorts of drama. Having a strong understanding of numbers and the financial aspect of Real Estate, there is rarely a situation Steve can’t work thru for a winning outcome. With over four decades of managing, brokering and flipping residential and commercial real estate in Southern California, Steve has become an expert in valuation, and feels “knowing what you’re worth” is a real foundation in Real Estate, as well as life in general. Throughout his career, Steve has earned numerous accolades, in both Real Estate and Veteran causes he supports including: ● Top Colleague ● Top Listing Agent ● Top Property Manager ● Master BPO Producer ● VIP-VASH Landlord ● CA Disabled Veteran Business for 2016 Steve lives in Southern California with wife Colleen, along with his three grown children. In addition to helping Veterans, Steve enjoys the outdoors, all sports and still has a voracious appetite for knowledge and learning to keep him sharp! Steve has previously authored several self help books, including: the newest "So... You Think You Want to Be a Landlord Part 1" (2023); "Best Selling Options in Divorce" (2021); the loan modification and short sale book titled “Saved by the Short Sale” (2008); “The California Property Management Guide” (2019), and a series of books covering Probate, “Tough to sell Properties” and “How to Get Top Dollar when Selling”. Steve applies himself by assisting all types of buyers and sellers, in all types of situations, to realize their immediate and long term goals. Whether buying or selling Steve takes pride in hearing clients use the words, “Knowledgeable, Compassionate, Witty and Creative” It’s hard not to succeed with those “winds” filling your sails.
